Sub-Sea Tree Units
Mills loaded and hauled 2 sub-sea tree units during the 2009 spring weight
restrictions. The loads arrived on ship at Ceres Terminal in Halifax and
were routed directly to Newfoundland complete with escorts.
Crane House
Mills loaded and delivered this 68,000 kg crane house as well as 14 other
loads of a crane from Halifax to Fermeuse, Newfoundland. This work was done
in June of 2008.
St Croix River Bridge

Mills accomplished the moving of a locomotive from terminal to ship at Cerescorp in Halifax in December, 2007.

Mills accomlished the skidding of a 50 ton, 14' high transformer from under wires, before loading it on to truck and transporting it from Liverpool, Nova Scotia to Mirmichi, New Brunswick
Cleland Road Overpass
In June 2007, Mills moved 130' long , 130,000# girders from Halifax to St Stephen, NB for Strescon.
RESL Windmill Move
Mills has been very
active in working with various wind energy projects.
A full range of services were implemented for the
moving and storage of these turbine windmills. The
sections of the windmills were transported by a fleet
of Mills trucks to the storage yard. They are
currently stored there awaiting transportation to the
assembly site.
62 Tonne Paper Rolls
Located close to the
port Of Halifax, Mills is positioned well to handle
oversized and overweight loads leaving Halifax. Here,
two 62 tonne paper rolls were moved from Halifax, to
Saint John, New Brunswick.
