Rohde & Liesenfeld Steel Roller Transfer

The rail transfer services of Mills were secured by Rohde & Liesenfeld Canada Inc. to move many pieces of equipment, including seveal 50 tonne steel roller shafts. The equipment was transported from the port of Halifax, to a near by rail loading facility. Here Mills utilized a mobile crane to place the equipment on to rail cars, and then secure them in place.
"What used to take a week to get done at the pier, was done in 2 days by Mill's Heavy-Hauling! We even saved money on the railcar tie down."
  - Jan Beringer, President, Rohde & Liesenfeld Canada Inc.
